It doesn't matter. They still have beating hearts. They are still human beings. I look up to Richard and i consider hin my uncle. I love him like family. The thought of him not being able to get married because he loves another man, well it makes me sick to my stomach. My mom is right by writing this blog. ali1234https://www.blogger.com/profile/18095161219276055859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6107637892861578251.post-33163011190927211522013-02-26T08:01:43.313-08:002013-02-26T08:01:43.313-08:00Thank you, Ellen. Those same kids used to capture flies and rip the wings off, laughing while the poor creatures hopped around. I have another story, from when I was in Kindergarten. We lived in another West Texas small town, and one of my first days of Kindergarten was traumatic. All of the children, five-year olds, gathered around me. They knew that my family did not attend church. They all told me that my mom, my dad, my deceased infant brother, and I would all burn kn hell. They told me that God did not love us. This memory has never left, and was the source of many nightmares when I was a child. Needless to say, organized religion is not my favorite. But the point is, these children were TAUGHT hate. Every person, plant, animal deserves respect! Every human being deserves the same rights. Period. Sorry for the long-winded rant :-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12076893060847766598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6107637892861578251.post-41294642071769911662013-02-26T07:26:08.238-08:002013-02-26T07:26:08.238-08:00Every time I hear someone comment negatively about...Every time I hear someone comment negatively about gay marriage, I ALWAYS go back to equal rights. It's especially disturbing when young people spout the same ol' stuff about God and Leviticus, or even just that gay marriage is "gross." Equal rights is exactly what's all about. Thank you for taking a stand.Ellen Hopkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01800131582682938171noreply@blogger.com
